Nana Baffoe is a Researcher at FrameWorks, conducting qualitative research across several of our program areas. Before FrameWorks, Nana conducted research that used Du Boisian theory to study the impact of structural racism on Black American Muslim identity. He has also conducted comparative analyses of Indigenous reconciliation efforts in the United States and Canada, exploring the varying degrees to which multiculturalism impacts state apologies in both countries. Outside of research, he has held positions in copywriting, advocacy, and language tutoring. In these positions, he worked with underserved communities in Hong Kong, Maine, Ghana, and Ukraine. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Politics from Bates College in Maine.
