Miriam Fogelson
Miriam Fogelson is a strategist, producer and organizational leader with over two decades of experience working throughout the United States and Latin America at the intersection of culture change and the social justice movement. Miriam currently serves as the President of HARNESS. Founded by America Ferrera, Wilmer Valderrama, and Ryan Piers Williams, Harness is a community of activists, artists, and leaders who believe that storytelling shapes our world. HARNESS builds community to educate, inspire, and care for one another as we take collective action towards a liberated future. [insert paragraph break] Miriam is the producer of numerous award-winning content and campaigns. She is the Associate Producer of Halal in the Family, a Peabody Award winning web-series that aims to shift dehumanizing narratives about Muslim Americans. Her work has appeared in prominent media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, TIME, MSNBC, CNN and NPR. She serves on the Advisory Boards of The Carmack Collective, The Action Lab and HEEB, and she is the Co-Founder of the NY chapter of LOCA (Ladies of Comedy Association). She has a B.A. in Journalism from Boston University and a M.A. in International Affairs from The New School.
