Kristin Vierra is a Quantitative Researcher at FrameWorks Institute. Prior to joining FrameWorks, Kristin received her master’s degree in psychological science from California State University, Chico, where she engaged in participatory action research centered around social justice. She received her PhD in behavior and brain science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As an experimental psychologist, Kristin’s research integrates the fields of developmental, cognitive, social, and educational psychology; she has conducted both quantitative and mixed-methods research, with a particular focus on the development of critical consciousness and interventions to foster the development of critical consciousness. Her work has been published in the Journal of Adolescent research, Contemporary Educational Psychology, Education Sciences, Frontiers in Psychology, and Psychology of Men & Masculinities.
