Jeff Krehely

Jeff Krehely is the Chief Operating Officer of the Roosevelt Institute, a progressive economic policy think tank and the nation’s largest network of college students working for progressive change on their campuses and in their communities. The Institute is also the nonprofit partner to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, NY. Jeff previously served as the Senior Vice President for Domestic Policy at the Center for American Progress (CAP), where he oversaw 10 policy areas, including family economic security, criminal justice, and immigration. He had previously worked at CAP as the Vice President of the LGBT Research and Communications Project at CAP, a department he founded. In addition, Jeff has held senior leadership positions at the Human Rights Campaign, the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, and other organizations. He has also served as a consultant to a wide range of progressive policy and political organizations. He has a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University.
