Diego Vergara

Diego is passionate about the role of communication in social movements. He believes that radical imagination and bold visions are needed to free us! Currently, Diego serves as the Digital Engagement Senior Manager at the Center for Story-based Strategy (CSS). Prior to this role, he worked at the North Carolina Statewide Police Accountability Network (NCSPAN) and was involved in efforts to reshape how people think about safety. Diego also worked at Ignite NC, a youth fellowship program for young organizers. During this time, he worked with a team of organizers to train NC’s next generation of organizers and communicators. Diego’s academic background includes a Master of Arts degree in Communications.
