Annette Michaux

Fellow

With extensive senior executive experience in social policy, research and child and family practice, Annette has successfully led change initiatives in both government and non-government organisations. Her most recent roles include as a Director at the Parenting Research Centre, where she championed the Reframing Parenting project which took Australian research by The FrameWorks Institute and introduced changes to the way policy makers, advocates and practitioners communicate about children and parenting in Australia. Previously she led social policy and research at The Benevolent Society and pioneered the implementation of evidence-based programs across that organisation and its partners.

Annette has served on several boards including Families Australia. She is an advisor on practice and care governance to the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also part of the Steering Group implementing the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s children.

She holds a Masters degree in Education from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Sydney.
