Brazil: Climate Change

In 2015, the FrameWorks Institute supported a team of researchers to explore cultural attitudes and beliefs about climate change in Brazil, one of the world’s largest and most populous countries and home of the Amazon Rainforest, one of the planet’s richest and most diverse ecosystems.

Brazil: Early Childhood

FrameWorks is engaged in a three-year project in collaboration with the Global Children's Initiative of the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University, the Fundação Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal, in São Paulo, and the Bernard van Leer Foundation.

Violence in Brazil

Brazilian experts decry the high levels of violence, especially urban violence, that take their toll on the public in myriad ways. One of the most damaging but least publicly understood effects of violence is the way it impacts early child development.
